THREE SMALL JADE CARVINGS
19th century
The first, carved as a mantis with its spindly legs aloft a leafy stem, the
details finely incised, the stone an even white hue; the second a pair of
ducks carved facing each other, each grasping in their beaks a floral
spray, the stone cleverly worked in celadon and dark gray hue; the
third carved as a crouched mantis holding a leafy stem that extends
over its body, the stone a mottled white hue.

TWO JADE CARVINGS OF MONKEYS
Qing dynasty or later
The first, a recumbent monkey with its head playfully leaning against
its paw, the stone a grey hue with dark veins; the second a crouched
monkey pawing its head, the stone a yellow green hue.

A TANG-STYLE WHITE JADE CARVING OF A RECUMBENT
HORSE
Carved with front legs tucked under the body, its head sharply turned
to nuzzle its back, the saddle and mane incised with fine detail, the
stone an even white hue with russet veins.
