underside bearing the six-character mark in underglaze blue centering Mid to late 20th century
the unglazed base displaying a slightly bluish tinge. The globular body tapering into a cylindrical neck and covered by a
4 1/2in (11.5cm) diameter delicate slip-decorated tableau of quail amid bamboo and plants on
a pale yellow glaze, the base with makers’ mark reading Zhongguo
