Late Qing dynasty
The tall cylindrical neck raised atop the inverted pear-shaped body, the
surfaces covered in a thick glaze variegated in hues of violet, crimson
and cream sliced cleanly around the thick unglazed foot encircling a
recessed base covered in a uniform russet burn. 555

A CORAL RED ENAMELED PORCELAIN VASE
Qing dynasty
Of elongated yuhuchun form comprised of an attenuated neck atop
a pear-shaped body all raised atop a cleanly potted foot encircling
the clear-glazed base centered by a double cobalt ring, the exterior
surfaces covered in an even red color.

present lot also potted in an unusual shape, but still dated to the
Kangxi reign, was offered at Sotheby’s Hong Kong as lot 23 in their

A LARGE YUE-TYPE GLAZED POTTERY JAR
20th century
Finely molded with three layers of stiff leaves below six evenly spaced
squared lug handles at the shoulder and two further below the
cupped, everted rim. covered overall with a transparent olive glaze
pooling to sea green.
