Guangxu six-character mark
Finely potted with a large globular body narrowing to a tall waisted
neck, flaring at the rim, brightly enamelled around the exterior with
gnarled pine tree, knotted prunus branches issuing pink blossoms,
and green bamboo, the shoulder with a band of floral scrolls, the
mouth rim with a ruyi-head border. 43cm (16 7/8in) high.

Underglaze blue Qianlong seal mark, late Qing Dynasty
Finely painted with roundels of officials gathered in gardens and
equestrian warriors, on a coral ground reserved in gilt with Buddhist
emblems and scrolling lotus. 30.5cm (12in) high.

A FAMILLE ROSE YELLOW-GROUND JARDINIERE
19th century
Sturdily potted, the tapered cylindrical body decorated in vivid
enamels to the exterior with four archaistic circular eave tiles
enclosing characters reading ‘Yan Nian Yi Shou’ (Extending years
and increasing longevity), each bracketed by four iron-red swooping
bats and separated by stylised shou characters, all reserved on a
bright yellow ground above lotus lappets to the foot and a band of
stylised ruyi-heads to the rim, the interior with a circular drainage
hole. 36cm (14 1/4in) diam.
