With applied gilt lion and cub handles and
guei dragons at the shoulders, elaborately
decorated with lively court scenes, on
grounds of bird and butterflies, fruit and
flower sprays, scholar’s objects and
auspicious emblems, later European carved
gilt wood stands. The vases 91cm (35.3/4in)
