Each side with moulded and reticulated panels of narrative scenes
depicting a love story between a young scholar and a beautiful
lady, all vibrantly painted in famille rose enamels, the necks with
the scholar climbing a wall to reach his lover, all against a lavender
scrolling lotus ground. Each 52cm (20 1/2in) high (2).

Each brightly enamelled on the oviform body with three ogival
cartouches of a butterfly alighting over peonies, reserved against a
ground of bright black, pink, green, yellow and aubergine stripes, the
