the deep rounded body supported by a stem
and ared foot, anked by two loop handles on of waisted, cylindrical form with a wide trumpet the deep U-shaped body rising from three
the sides and a narrow band of decoration along mouth tapering to a slightly bulging belly and a splayed triangular blade legs to a pointed rim
the waist, lled with small triangles and circlets, opposite a guttered spout anked by a pair of
the same band repeated on the domed cover, ared foot, the belly cast in low relief with two posts capped with conical ‘ re-whorl’ medallions,
the central aring knob cast with interlocking pairs of bosses and a ange forming two taotie the exterior boldly cast with two dissolved taotie
serpents and dots, the bronze with a dark patina masks reserved on a leiwen ground, the foot mask with bulging eyes in high relief, one side set
and patches of malachite encrustation (2) similarly cast but without the anges, the base with a loop handle issuing from a bovine mask,
