A muraqqa’ (album) folio with inner bu borders of lightly-
toned salmon and cream color with ecked gold and oral
designs. Outer natural-bu gold ecked borders with an ink
and gold rosette.
A young Mughal prince holding a sharp spear in one hand while
enjoying the fragrance of a small blossom. He wears a gold
oral-design payjama under a diaphanous white muslin jama,
yellow and gold patka, jewelry and a Mughal cap with gold
bands and a feathered aigrette. Standing on a very low horizon
with the merest suggestion of a ower strewn landscape. On a
blue-green ground rising to a red streaked cloudy sky.
