A pleasant and peaceful scene depicting ladies at leisure
seated on a terraced garden by a riverbank.
Genre scenes such as these were painted in large numbers to
cater to the taste of the European travelers and merchants in
India, who were collecting such works at this time.

by a ring of winged putti. Several lines of calligraphy in Farsi
