GLOSSARY

 Asking : say something in order to obtain an answer or some information.
 Cardinal Number : a number denoting quantity (one, two, three, etc.),

 Date : the day of the month or year as specified by a number.

 Day : a period of twenty-four hours as a unit of time, reckoned from one
midnight to the next, corresponding to a rotation of the earth on its axis.

 Month : a period of time between the same dates in successive calendar months.

 Ordinal Number : a number defining a thing's position in a series, such as “first,”
“second,” or “third.” Ordinal numbers are used as adjectives, nouns, and

pronouns.
 Telling : having a striking or revealing effect; significant.

 Time : the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past,
present, and future regarded as a whole.
