                       This chapter examines the notion of a "typical" personality in the library and how it has changed
                       over the past 50 + years. It also considers what that means for managers tasked with organizing
                       these people into effective teams. In particular, the issue of disputes occurring in the workplace of

                       the library and its causes will be discussed. The chapter also looks at library leadership, how it
                       can  be  different  in  different  environments  and  how  librarians  show  specific  leadership  styles.

                       Also, the importance  of  communication  is  examined,  and  what tends  to  hinder  it.  Finally,  the
                       authors question if these definitions apply to gaps between generations, and if so how?
