Iraq has announced plans to develop seven new refineries to help with
energy security and lower imports, but the plans look too ambitious.
New ARDA head
Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid has been announced as the winner of an
election for president of the African Refiners and Distributors Association.
KPC crude cuts
Asian refiners were recently informed by the KPC that the supply of Kuwait
Export Blend crude could be reduced by April.
Phase 14 production commences
Iranian media reported this week that the fourth and final train at the South
Pars Phase 14 refinery had started production.
