2) Conjunctions
There are 2 types of conjunctions that you can find in procedural texts, namely
Conditional Conjunctions and Temporal Conjunctions.
a) Conditional Conjunctions
A conditional conjunction is a conjunction that expresses a condition.
For example: if, as long as.
b) Temporal Conjunctions
Temporal conjunctions are conjunctions that show sequences of time.
For example: then, after that, next.
3) Numeralia (Words of Numbers)
There are 2 types of numeralia in procedural text, namely Sequence Numeralia
and Quantity Numeralia.
a) Numeral sequences are words that can be substituted for temporal
conjunctions. For example: first, second, third, and so on.
b) Numerical Quantity is a word that functions as a hint of amount or
duration in procedure text. For example: ''put in 2 eggs", "let stand for
1 hour in the refrigerator," and the like.
4) Persona.
a) Pronouns for guidance usually contain the words 'this,' 'that', and
'those'.
For example: “Stir the mixture until it thickens”.
b) Persona pronouns usually contain the words 'you', 'I', ' you', 'we,' and
'you'.
For example: "Add chili sauce according to your taste!"
5) Verbs
In procedure text there are 2 types of verbs, namely material verbs and
behavioral verbs.
a) Material verbs are a verb that refers to a physical action. For example:
'frying', 'stirring,' 'slicing,' and so on.
b) Behavioral verbs are verbs that are shown through expressions, whose
behavior cannot be seen with the naked eye.
For example: 'understand', 'think,' etc.
