                  “Jesus Loves Me …And You”

Scripture: John 14:23 “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word,
and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make
      our home with him.”
As I have spent time with children in Sunday School and
Children’s Time, the children will answer “Jesus” to any and all
questions. It’s not a wrong answer, because Jesus is always with
      us.
During Vacation Bible School a few years ago, the key phrase
everyday was “Jesus Loves.” The kids had fun shouting that
phrase all week. We learned that when you’re lonely, sad, afraid
or worried, Jesus Loves You and is there with you as your friend
and he will listen and guide you.
This is something to remember whether young or older. “Jesus
Loves Me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us to remember that Jesus loves
us and is with us everyday and knows our name and knows our
      needs. Amen.

                        LIGHT - DARKNESS"

      Read Ephesians 5:8-14

Our life journey is often guided by what we learn as children to
be Right and Wrong from our parents, teachers and extended
family. From these teachings and experiences, we like to believe
we are good people when in fact we are people of "Darkness".
Even when we have done something wrong, sinned, we have often
justified it by thinking, believing, we are a good person not
realizing we are living in "Darkness".

We become people of "Light" when we acknowledge God and His
son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by the actions in our daily
lives. Those actions can be showing concern for others, by saying
a kind word, by helping physically and monetarily, to speak out
about injustices that are prevalent in today's society.
