Dr. Yueh-Ping Liu,

Director General, Dept. of Medical

Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare,

衛福部醫事司劉越萍司長

Dr. Yueh-Ping Liu is a physician with dual board certifications in
emergency medicine and pediatrics. She previously served at

National Taiwan University Hospital and held key positions

including Deputy Executive Director of the Taipei Regional
Emergency Medical Operation Center and Chair of the Pediatric

Emergency Committee at the Taiwan Society of Emergency

Medicine.
With extensive experience bridging clinical care and health policy,

Dr. Liu has played a vital role in shaping Taiwan’s healthcare system.

Since 2020, she has served as Director General of the Department
of Medical Affairs, where she led national efforts in medical

mobilization during the COVID-19 pandemic and advanced organ

transplantation and patient autonomy through her leadership at

the Taiwan Organ Registry and Sharing Center.
A passionate leader who embraces challenges, Dr. Liu is committed

to continuous learning and to applying innovative solutions to

improve healthcare quality and patient-centered care.
