currently serves as the President of Aish HaTorah, St.
Louis.

Joni has been the lifelong partner in all of the Kaiser
Jewish communal work, and according to Bob, providing
support, guidance and even instruction in all aspects of
Bob’s more visible work. But, while taking primary
responsibility for raising their two daughters, Hannah and
Rebecca, Joni still found time to volunteer extensively at
the girls’ school, Solomon Schechter Day School,
serving for both girls as a room parent, lunch server, and
a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. Joni was also active in
Solomon Schechter's Parent's Association, serving for
two years as the chairperson of their in-school challah
delivery program. Joni is also a regular and longtime
volunteer at NHBZ, with a history of helping in the office,
serving up salad at Pizza Nights, sitting on the
synagogue Board and writing up NHBZ’s events for the
St. Louis Jewish Light. (If it’s in the Light about NHBZ,

Bob and Joni are the proud parents (and grandparents)
of Hannah, Lee, & Nesya Mirowitz of Netanya, Israel and
Rebecca & Yehuda Bromberg of Skokie, Illinois, who are
all active in and carry on the strong commitment to
Jewish communal life.
