We are humbled and grateful to have been chosen as
honorees for NHBZ’s 114th Annual Dinner.
We are blessed to have found this welcoming community that
so thoroughly aligns with our hopes, needs and dreams, and
are thankful each and every day for what it—and you---have
given to us.
THANK YOU to our entire Nusach Hari B’nai Zion family.
THANK YOU to Rabbi Smason. You so selflessly give of
yourself to make sure that every person who comes across
your path is treated as one created in the image of G-d. You
not only so freshly (and often humorously) impart ancient but
timeless wisdom, but you value the very need to do so.
THANK YOU to the entire Dinner Committee for each year
creating a memorable and seamless event. We know the hard
work you do is often unseen, but much appreciated.
THANK YOU to the many community Rabbis who have helped
us on our lifelong journey. At the risk of leaving someone out,
we owe thanks to Rabbi Grunberger, Rabbi David and Rabbi
Greenwald of Aish HaTorah, Rabbi Landa of Chabad, and
Rabbi Mintz and Rabbi Berkowitz of the St. Louis Kollel.
THANK YOU to our wonderful and inspirational children (and
grandchild), Hannah, Lee and Nesya Mirowitz, and Rebecca
and Yehuda Bromberg. We couldn’t be more proud of the
people you turned out to be!
We feel blessed to share this evening with the other honorees,
Teree Farbstein, and Rick and Marcy Cornfeld. Each is so
very worthy of their recognition. Thank you all for everything
you do for the entire Jewish community.
