What a special night! Mazel Tov to Robert and Joni Kaiser
and Teree Farbstein for their wonderful and well-deserved
honors, and to Nusach Hari B’nai Zion Congregation on its
114th anniversary.

For us, as the recipients of the Israel Advocacy Award, we
are filled with gratitude.

We are grateful to Rabbi Smason and NHBZ for believing
our efforts are deserving of this honor. NHBZ’s unwavering
commitment to the Jewish homeland makes being chosen
by you even more meaningful.

We are grateful to AIPAC for allowing us to express our
commitment to Israel and the United States. When we
lobby on Capitol Hill for our country’s strong alliance with
Israel, we are always awed by our democracy, which gives
us the opportunity to work for Israel and the Jewish people.

We are grateful for our fellow St. Louis AIPAC activists
including, especially, our rabbi, Brigitte Rosenberg, who
devote their energies to a strong US-Israel relationship here
and in Washington.

We are grateful to our parents and grandparents for the
Jewish homes they made for us and the lessons they taught
us about communal responsibility and Klal Yisrael. We are
grateful to our children for their love and support. We are
grateful to our friends and family for coming to celebrate with
us tonight.

We are grateful for and inspired by the Israel Advocacy
Award.
