               School and Childhood Experiences:
                   1.  Are you glad you were schooled the way you were?
                   2.  What would you change?
                   3.  What would you keep the same?
                   4.  What are two of the “happiest” experiences you had in school?
                   5.  What are two of the most “unhappy” experiences you had in school?
                   6.  What is a sad childhood experience?
                   7.  What are some things you wish had never happened to you during your growing up years?
                   8.  What kind of self-esteem do you have and how was that affected during school years?

               Parents:
                   1.  Where was each of your parents raised?
                   2.  What education does each have?
                   3.  What work experience does each have?
                   4.  Describe their personalities?
                   5.  How did you get along with your parents?
                   6.  What would you change in your parents’ marriage if you could?
                   7.  What would you like to keep the same in your own marriage?
                   8.  What kind of affection was shown in your parents’ marriage?
                   9.  What personality conflicts do you have with your mom?
                   10. What personality conflicts do you have with your dad?
                   11. Did you feel unconditional love from your parents?
                   12. What are the greatest strengths of your parents’ marriage?
                   13. Did either of your parents ever abuse the other? (verbally, physically, etc.)
