• There is never an excuse for being rude, angry, or arrogant in the face of criticism.

            24. Learn to Listen.

            • Don’t listen just to respond but to understand.

            25. You Work with Others, They Don’t Work for You.

            • There are no unimportant people in God’s economy.
            • It’s the difference in building a team or perpetuating an autocracy.
            • It is obvious that God has a plan for every one of our lives.
            • They work with you so your task is to help them succeed.

            26. Don’t be Threatened if People Love Their Former Minister.

            27. Face Problems Head-On and Deal with them Quickly.

            • Don’t let things fester.
            • Give others the benefit of the doubt.
            • Conflict needs immediate attention.

            28. Pay Attention: Remember Names.

            29. Don’t Be Afraid to Change.

            • Be flexible.
            • Embrace change.
            • You can’t stop change, but we can manage it.
            • Most change is perceived as a threat.

            30. Demonstrate Courage – Don’t Avoid Risk.

            • Courage is knowing what to fear.
            • Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage comes in the face of fear.
            • Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.

               Three Kinds of Pastors:

               a) Caretakers
               b) Undertakers
               c) Risk Taker

            31. Always Share your Faith.

Spurgeon said, “If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they will perish, let
them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled
in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unsprayed for.”
