BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN FISHERIES

Level III Phase 2

WELL-DEFINED OBJECTIVES

For all CHED – supervised higher education institutions, the Bachelor of

Science in Fisheries (BSF) program aimed:

1. to produce globally competitive graduates in the areas of sustainable

aquaculture, capture fisheries, post-harvest and aquatic resources and

ecology;

2. to produce fisheries professionals imbued with high level of integrity,

nationalism and ethical standards;

3. to produce leaders in their profession and respective communities; and

4. to produce professionals with knowledge, skills and positive attitudes in

fisheries research, resource management, instruction, extension,

production and marketing.

To attain these objectives, Cavite State University is committed in

implementing curricular programs with the guidance of its Vision and Mission, which

are integrated in the objectives of the different subjects under each degree program,

as well as to the research and extension agenda of the university.
