The old wordsmith selected the card at the top of his pile. Lulu
and Bob, unfamiliar with the game, were surprised to see illustrations
on the front of the card. Were they there to aid the speaker? Or as
distraction?
“Frieda fed Fred fat-free feta.” Bunster never paused. “Frieda fed
Fred fat-free feta.” He would be a formidable opponent. “Frieda fed
Fred fat-free feta.” And it dawned on Lulu that the odds were against
the twins: they had two opportunities to end up tongue-tied for each
of their uncle’s.
