Page 31 - Lulu and Bob in Verbo City

Bunster began to perceive that his niece and nephew were not
pushovers. He decided to unnerve them: reaching quickly for his
card, he barely glanced at it before closing his eyes and rapidly
reciting:
“Plump dimpled plums pimple rumpled dumplings. Plump
dimpled plums pimple rumpled dumplings. Plump dimpled plums
pimple rumpled dumplings.”
Bob was taken aback by his uncle’s showboating. He assumed
Lulu was checking the text on Bunster’s card. Could the man be
lying? Had he already memorized the entire deck? The boy drove all
doubts from his mind, leaving it blank. Unperturbed he drew the
next turbinated text. It was a deadly two-word twister.
“Portly poultry,” he enunciated smoothly. “Portly poultry. Portly
poultry.”
