unflappability. Stay within yourself, he mentated; I can handle
anything thrown at me.

Lulu too was having trouble maintaining the proper balance of
mental concentration and lingual flexibility. Why, oh why, she
lamented inwardly, did we try to cover up our innocent little mistake
and speak with forked tongue to the Great Chief? But when her turn
came she was ready.
