“Mario: drop everything and come up here. Bring your apron. I’ve
just discovered a new demographic just waiting to be served by the
King of the Franks: people who are forced to eat vegetables. So we
will make mock vegetables out of ground pork, fish paste, chopped
liver, turkey puree and food coloring. They’ll look like vegetables on
the plate, get it? But inside it’s all meat, meat, meat! We’ll hit the
market first and make a killing! So keep it under your hat and let’s get
cracking! Oh, and call down to the company cafeteria and have them
send up whatever day-old meat they were going to throw out: we
need some raw materials.”
Russ Pepin leaned back in his swivel chair and swung his legs
vigorously. He felt much better already.
