assignments.

“Well ,” Lugo replied, “there are four beside Bulakko. We were just
in his room there on the right-hand side. Next to him is General S eth
of Garbon; along the other wall are Reverend Emenoy of Yo,
Kortokox of Jaleeka, and Doctor Too-Rasoo of Drast.”
“I’d like to talk with each of them today, Lugo. Could you arrange it
without arousing their suspicions?”
“No problem,” replied Lugo. “One of my duties here is to visit our
guests briefly each day to see how they are getting along. Some of
them stay in their quarters for long stretches of time, and we like to
keep tabs on their condition. In fact, it was Bulakko’s failure to make
his usual 0500 trip to the reception desk for a chat that made Miss
Woswoot suspect something was wrong with him— or so she said.”
