P. 11

Meanwhile, Billy Bob Cat, unaware of events in his wake, had
reached his destination. It was the largest house he had ever seen.
The lawn alone took up more space than the empty lot at the end of
the tomcats’ alley. But the opulence and grandeur of the
establishment were lost on him; he only had eyes for a svelte feline
form silhouetted in a ground-floor window. Billy Bob hunkered
down in a carefully-tended flower bed in the front yard and let loose
a long low howl of unrequited love.
