During that time, I did housework here and there to make some money.
In those days, one could just look in the newspaper and find a job —
no problem.
Mark 8:22–38
He sat at the corner by the road each morning, begging for alms. One
day, around midday, he heard a commotion. Someone said,
“Jesus is passing by!”
“Please,” he cried, “help me! I want to see you!”
Jesus stopped.
“What can I do for you?” He asked.
With tears flowing, the man said, “I just want to see.”
Jesus led him out of the city, putting spit on his eyes. At first, it was
blurry. The man said he saw men as trees. But shortly after, he could
see clearly — and worshipped Jesus and followed Him everywhere.
