DAY 6: THE LORD IS THERE

“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him…”
Psalm 145:18

My journey with cancer has been long, hard, and depressing.
But I am thankful for this experience because, just like
Apostle Paul, God proved His faithfulness when I gave my
total dependence on Him. His peace, protection, and
presence were evident as I found my strength and joy in the
Lord.

Apostle Paul said, “I face death everyday…” (See 1
Corinthians 15:31). He was hard pressed on every side,
perplexed, persecuted, struck down, given over to death (See
2 Corinthians 4:8-12) and became the garbage of the world
(See 1 Corinthians 4:13). He felt he received a death
sentence and that this great pressure is far beyond his ability
to endure, but he felt it was the best thing that could have
happened to him because he was forced to trust God
completely. God has proven His faithfulness to Paul. He also
acknowledged the people who prayed for him and his
ministry. For him, their prayers played a crucial part in the
rescue operation (See 2 Corinthians 1:8-11). He praised the
people’s power through prayer!
I thank the Lord for He was with me during my journey with
cancer. I acknowledge the many people who prayed for me.
Some of them were from different parts of the world, and I
have not met most of them yet. I want to tell you, “Praise
