DAY 25: THE LORD, MY LIGHT

                     “The Lord is my light and my salvation;
                               Whom shall I fear?
                       The Lord is the strength of my life;
                           Of whom shall I be afraid?”
                                   Psalm 27:1

            September 2020: Wilma’s vitals are generally good. Her
            bed sore is still on stage 3 but was improving. Praise God!
            Although Wilma still has no control over her body, she can
            still respond to "Yes or No" questions by blinking. A piece
            of welcoming news – Wilma will be transferred to a
            complex care facility. “WOW! Three months ago, we were
            told that Wilma did not qualify as a candidate for rehab. A
            month and a half ago, we were told that she wasn't going to
            survive. But now, they're talking about moving her to
            complex care. We told her medical team that we trust their
            expertise and competence during our meetings. All we ask
            of them is for them to attend to her the best they know how,
            and we'll pray the best we know how.” Perry wrote on his
            Facebook update.
            October 2020: Wilma was moved to Parkwood Rehab
            Center. Her transfer to Parkwood is a miracle in itself, as she
            was considered not a candidate for rehab after undergoing a
            series of tests. Then, a month later, doctors feared that she
            was losing her fight against infection, so much so that the
            medical team met with the family not only to discuss her
            condition but also to determine the DNR decision (do not
            resuscitate). Wilma, in the rehab phase of her journey
