          And it’s no surprise that almost everyone is concerned
          about their appearance these days. Seeing images of so
          many people who are supposed to be ideal (according to
          societal norms) on a daily basis can undoubtedly make
          you aware of how your appearance differs from those
          images.

          It’s  important  to remember that  everyone is  a human
          being.  No  one  wakes  up  every  morning looking  like  a
          supermodel, and while many people have worked hard to
          train their bodies, that isn’t always the case for everyone
          who appears  to be  in  good shape.  Many  people  have
          clearly gone down unhealthy  paths  in  order to appear
          more appealing in the pursuit of social media popularity.
          Others  have  done  expensive  cosmetic procedures  to
          enhance their appearance.
          You won’t have to worry about whether or not you appear
          to be beautiful on Instagram if you surround yourself with
          people who appreciate you for who you are.


          19.   Unhealthy Sleep Habits

          Aside from increasing the risk of developing anxiety and
          depression,  spending  too much  time  on social  media
          platforms  can  make  it  difficult  to  get  enough  sleep,
          which  is  another  disadvantage  of these  platforms. A
          greater amount of time spent on social media platforms
          has been shown in several studies to have a negative
          impact on sleep quality.
          If you believe your sleep patterns have become erratic,
          resulting in a decrease in productivity, try to reduce the
          amount of time you spend on social media in order to get
          more sleep.
