RADICAL LOVE



          in her heart and mocked and insulted his humility and abandonment to

          God in worship.

          David, however, knowing that God had chosen him to be king, told her

          in  no  uncertain  terms  that  he  was  not  going  to  be  stopped  from
          worshipping—and what’s more, he would be even more undignified

          and humble in his own sight.


          You may be thinking, what does all this have to do with opening one’s
          heart further to God? But stay with me…


          In order to combat the strength and power of increasing darkness—
          symbolised in verse 2 by the term “dark night”—we need to lift our

          God  higher.  Higher  above  our  dignity,  higher  above  our  dreams,
          aspirations, our families, and our ministries. The lower we are prepared

          to go, the more powerfully God will manifest.


          Humility is a key weapon in the arsenal of a 21st-century Christian, as
          is heartfelt praise and worship. The Bible tells us that the Lord inhabits

          the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3), and over the past few years,
          there has been an urgent call from the Holy Spirit to God’s people to

          praise and worship Him in spirit and in truth.


          It is time to arise, Church! God wants us to cooperate fully with Him
          now and to open our hearts in full surrender to His will and His way.

          Remember the words of Revelation 22:17! It is both the Spirit and the
          Bride who say, “Come.” Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot utter the
