RADICAL LOVE
unconditionally accepted and totally loved in Christ Jesus. This is made
possible through the washing of the Word of God, available to each of
us as we cultivate our relationship with Him in His chamber.
Moving on to verse 6, Several points are highlighted here. Firstly, she
is asking others not to look at her because of the awareness of darkness
within herself. The nearer we venture toward the light of Christ, the
greater the realisation of the darkness of the Adamic nature inside our
hearts. It can lead us to feel unworthy of love, respect, and honour from
others—especially if we are in leadership.
Consequently, this can result in our being unwilling to be vulnerable
and honest about ourselves in front of others, out of fear of their
disapproval. However, even the Apostle Paul stated that he had no
confidence in his flesh.
Hear his words from Philippians 3:3–4 (NIV):
“For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit,
who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—
though I myself have reasons for such confidence.”
Later in the chapter and verse 9 of the same version, he declares:
“…not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but
that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes
from God on the basis of faith.”
