SHAUNA’S STAND–UP

“Omg, Shauna…” Mom covered her mouth in shock. “You passed
          your final semester test!”

               I gasped. “Really? Yes!”

“I knew you had it in yourself, Shauna. Good job.” Dad touched
          my shoulder.

“Does this mean I won’t be doing any school learning classes?” I
          tilted my head, grinning happily.

“Yes, surely you won’t.” Dad chuckled.
I guess today was a good day. I did my math test, and I passed. I

did my comedy show, and I totally proved my parents wrong. I’m so

glad everything went well. Maybe I should give my story a name…
               “Shauna’s Stand–up.”

               Perfect.
