smartest kids in the whole wide world. Remember I told
you that I always wanted to be a teacher? Well, here was

my chance. In the mornings, from nine to twelve, I was

no longer Grandma; I was Miss Hart. I would cover my
face with my hands and say, “Grandma just left, now

pay attention. Good morning, children.” Then our
lessons would begin—usually math or reading. We had

an hour lunch, then back to class until four.

Without boasting, they were exceptionally smart when
they started school, and the teachers were amazed. I

trust that they have maintained it and are successful in
whatever field they choose to pursue. May our Heavenly

          Father watch over them always.

Matthew 19:14-15 (paraphrase) — Jesus said that

children should always be allowed to come to Him,

because that is what the Kingdom looks like.

So, He took them up one by one and blessed them.

At nine and ten years of age, they are very independent
          and don’t need me much.
