SESSION 4

However, the soil has to be very clean. It will not grow in filth, and—

unlike most other trees—it does not like dung-infused soil.
Additionally, this tree is an avid feeder. Therefore, to ensure a palm

tree flourishes, keeping its roots well-watered and well-fed is essential.
          No explanation needed here!

There are further points I want to mention about the palm:

They are very weak trees when they stand alone, but if three or four
stand together, they strengthen one another and stand fast. These are

the days of whole-body ministry and corporate anointings.

Read these words paraphrased from the Spirit-Filled Bible:

“Supernatural ministry is not flamboyant displays of platformed stars
who gather followers like satellites. Rather, true supernatural ministry

at work in the church begets vital, spiritually functional people

throughout the whole church family. The body is to be built up by the
mutual efforts of all the members supplying their contribution to the

          whole.”

Trees generally tend to snap—or at least lose branches—when faced

with hurricane-strength winds. Not so with the palm tree. They can

withstand extremely hazardous weather conditions because they have
malleable cells in their structure, which allow them to bend easily and

then return to their original position.

We too must bend during the winds of adversity and commit ourselves

fully in faith to Jesus, the anchor of our souls, who will lead us through.
