POINTS FOR DISCUSSION AND REFLECTION
❖ Of all the analogies of the palm tree, which one(s) touched your
heart most and why?
❖ Sit quietly for some moments and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal
to your heart the practical steps you need to take to become
more like the palm tree depicted in verse 7. Note them down
and make a decision today to take action on them. You will not
be disappointed!
❖ How do we translate being “well-fed and watered” into
practical applications for the strengthening of our walk with
God?
❖ Go to YouTube and listen to the song: “He is jealous for me”.
Invite the Holy Spirit to minister Jesus’ love and affection to
you whilst you listen. Let the words penetrate deep into your
spirit and write down any of the lyrics that particularly stood
out for you. Meditate on them for a few minutes.
