SESSION 20
On that great day, when her Lord and Saviour descends from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God—
when those who have gone before her and have attained the
resurrection of the dead arise to new life—she who has prepared herself
will go out to greet them, receiving as her prize her resurrection body.
She will reach out with the bridal souls of all ages and take the hand of
the One who inhabits eternity—as His lovely bride, the Wife of the
Lamb.
Her joy will know no bounds, and His heart will be satisfied. The
mystical union of Christ and His Bride will be finished, for it will
forever after be openly, formally, and most gloriously shown and
exhibited throughout eternity before the eyes of all living creatures.
Thrones will be set up, and she will reign with her glorious King upon
the earth and in His Kingdom forever.
“Let as many of us who desire to be perfect be thus minded.”
And until Jesus returns in all His glory and greatness, she will be used
to extend the invitation of the Bride and the Bridegroom to those the
Lord brings across her path, in the words of Revelation 22:17 (TPT):
“Come,” says the Holy Spirit and the Bride in divine duet. Let everyone
who hears this duet join them in saying, “Come.” Let everyone who
craves the gift of living water come and drink it freely. Come.”
