Everywhere in the vast, vast universe, from the time children
are old enough to talk, they are taught the legend of

Gnurdleigh Wadd and his epic journey of destiny. It is the
biggest story the universe has ever known, maybe bigger. It is
an epic journey like ‘The Odyssey’, an immoral cautionary tale
like ‘Oedipus Rex’, a tragedy like ‘Othello’, full of sexual
weirdness like ‘The Story of O’, very strange like ‘Occult
Origami’ and extremely verbose, like the ‘Oxford Heritage
Dictionary of the English Language’. It is not surprising when
the story of Gnurdleigh is often referred to as: ‘The Big O’. The
book describing Gnurdleigh’s epic journey is the Drunk Monk’s

Bible, called ‘BeerQuest’.

As soon as their little hands can hold beer, parents and
extended family, with great excitement and fanfare, give
children throughout the universe little sippy-cups of stout,
porter, ale, weissbier, pilsner or lager and teach them to sing
that ancient drinking song, ‘BeerQuest’.

Poor Gnurdleigh left to travel space,
But not to go just anyplace.
His sacred quest; to find great beer,
His motives silly, but sincere.
