Standard Operating Procedure – Clinical Sciences Registration
Primary Responsibility: Clinical Director / Clinical Coordinator
Purpose: To create a standardized process for registering students into the Clinical Sciences and steps in
Matriculate from Preclinical Sciences to Clinical Sciences
Time Frame: At the commencement of the term
Step 1
Student has successfully Complete Preclinical Sciences and NBME Comprehensive Step 1 Exam at
GAU and gained approval from the Professional Performance Committee
Step 2
Students register via Ujuzi for Clinical Sciences Program.
Student will then gain access to Clinical Clerkship handbook, Log book , USMLE Review
material links
Step 3
Student attend orientation session with Clinical Clerkship Director or Coordinator
Student attend orientation session with Academic Advisor
