Procedure for School Level Assessment
•The Dean or Associate Dean reviews the Final
Programs Assessments of the School and
Step 1 grade it against the Maturity Rubric Score
•The Dean and Associate Dean develop a state
of assessment report for their school's
Step 2 •The Report along with the Maturity Rubric is
programs
presented to Academic Committee Sub,
Assessment Committee on or before January
31.
Time Frame: February – May
Procedure for University Level Assessment
Step 1 •Program assessment reports are evaluated and
scored by the Office of Assessment using the
Academic Program Assessment Maturity Rubric
•The program assessment maturity scores and school
level state of assessment report provided by the deans
Step 2 and/or associated deans are consolidated with the
program assessment maturity scores and feedback
provided by the IEO and then used to develop an
institutional level state of assessment report.
Step 3 •The GAU Academic Program State of Assessment Report
is an annual report that is provided to the CEO and
Board of Trustees
