JOURNEY WITH MY NEW COMPASSION
FRIEND Poem
My mission today is really very tough
Hello, Today I will tell about my journey with a new friend
I need to find the gem of compassion!
Covid-19.
Well I can't do it alone; I need my friends from planet Earth
No one knows about my friend’s place of origin. Nobody I jumped into my rocket with my puppy beside me
wants to be with my friend. If my new friend is with some-
body, nobody wants to be with him.
Nobody has seen him anywhere but still everybody thinks he
can be anywhere.
He is tiny but strong enough to stop all the trains, all the
flights. It forced to close all the shops, malls, cinema halls,
schools and colleges of every nation. Swish, Swash, Zoom, Zip, Bump!
It stopped all the cricket matches, football matches and other We landed on Earth but not with our friends!
It's totally different – very very different!
sport activities. Not only that, it also postponed the greatest

dogs!
In spite of that he is my friend because when lockdown was I could feel it, I had to do something
declared all my examinations got cancelled. With my Zap gun I aimed at the dog and
Now the dogs ran away - terrified of that cat - that very cat
If that would be me I can't imagine, how I would be chased by
the aliens!
Now the cat came to me, thanked me, and gave me a box
A small little box which was Orange in colour
I opened it to see that the gem was here!
I was happy - so very happy
But now the cat is nowhere to be seen!
At least I have the gem I thought to myself
Now I know what compassion is like!
It took us some time to get used to the lockdown rules and
regulations, but I knew slowly but surely we were going to get
used to it. Time went by like lightning, and my family and I got
used to the lockdown rules and regulations.
When our school was about to reopen, decision was taken to
start e-learning. It was unusual at first but still we adapted.
