A mundanely beautiful day outside
(Poem)
Xavier was at the park with sister Lilith, by his side;
Said Lilith, “It’s a mundanely glorious day outside”. Lilith was so full, she ate cupcakes that were more,
Said Xavier, “How could a day be mundanely glorious?” Said aunt Judith, “Sorry! We have to go home, on the way,
He questioned, with his doubt quite continuous. I’ll tell you some lore
“It could be!” said Lilith, with a little dismay, “Hmmm....ok...”. Said the children and started heading to their homes.
“Somehow, we always see this beauty everyday” Said aunt Judith, “Here we are! Talking about many things like Gnomes”.
“Oh those! I think that they’re quite creepy!” Objected Lilith.
“What?! Not really, hmm.... Is it?” Said aunt Judith
Replied Xavier, “It’s strange of how it is so!”
“We see the beautiful world by us, go”
Commented Lilith, “Well then, what do you expect? Whispered Lilith, “Hey Xavier, I think aunt seems crazy” .
Whined Xavier, “But I feel bored, too bored to accept”. Replied Xavier, “Try to think better about it, you’re acting lazy”.
Said Lilith, “I feel sorry for you, so sorry, I could cry”, It was when they arrived to the place, where they abide,
“But your boredom is something I can’t understand why” Holding their hands, side by side.
With smiling, they got off the ride.
Said Lilith, “Well....It is a truly glorious day outside!”
Said Xavier, “Then why don’t we play a game?”
A sad Lilith said, “But we’ve already had...! It’s all the same...”.
The two children were feeling so awfully bored
They’ve had many huge arguments, as many as four.
Screamed Xavier, “Then, what are we going to do?!”
No reply from Lilith, was just tapping her shoe.
Then suddenly! What they felt on their heads was a daisy chain
The joy erased all their pain
“I’ve never ever felt such a thing!” Said Xavier,
“Who would be so kind to cheer us up?” Asked Lilith,
“Oh my! Thanks for the joy! It’s aunt Judith!”
There behind, stood their aunt Judith, pretty as can be.
“Hee hee! Hello kids! It’s aunt Judith, me!
Both kids forgot their pain and their woe.
Where could it have been? Does anyone know?
There sat the three of them, with mint cupcakes and tea
“YUM! I’ll eat two more!” Said Xavier with glee.
