Update:

As previously reported, the Strategic Planning Committee has been tasked with development,
modification and/or implementation of IAATI’s next Strategic Plan (2021 -2026). The Committee continues
to be very active and meet regularly. The Board was previously informed that we had hoped to have the
“draft” of the next plan completed by May 19th, 2020. Unfortunately, due to other issues beyond our
control, we have fallen slightly behind our intended schedule. However, I am pleased to report the
Committee is currently in the process of finalizing the “draft” of the next Strategic Plan.

We anticipate having the “draft” of the next plan completed sometime in August. Once completed, we will
review with Past President Chris McDonold, as he chaired the previous Strategic Planning Committee and
authored the current plan. We will then provide the “draft” plan to the IAATI Officers for review and
comment. The finalized plan will then be presented to the full Board for review, comments and approval.

Originally, we had hoped to have the next plan completed in time for Chicago, however, it has become
apparent that a more realistic goal may be to have this project completed in September. Either way, we
anticipate having the Strategic Plan for 2021 – 2026 calendar years completed, approved and in place well
before start of the new year.
