Update:

The Australasian Branch would like to report that the Branch is a good position financially. The Branches
books have recently been independently audited and passed all requirements. The Branch currently has
85 members, which in our view is good considering we pick up most of our renewals and new members
at our annual conference, which as you are aware did not go ahead due to COVID-19. We have started to
see a little pick up in member numbers due to the new Insurance Code of Practice, which required
investigators to be a member of a professional organisation.

The Australian Government has been talking about closing the Australian International borders for
another the year, with the exception of New Zealand. If this goes ahead it could prevent members of the
Australasian Branch from attending the International Conference in Denver, however we will have to wait
and see what eventuates as what is happening with COVID-19 lockdowns is a moving target.

The Branch is still looking at running some webinars for the membership and hope to move forward with
those soon
