Scabies: is parasitic itch mite. Symptoms include itching that worsens at night or
when the individual is warm. Noticeable erythematous, opular lesions or ferrows
may be present. Permethrin 9% is used in pregnant women; it is applied to all body
areas from the neck down and washed off after 8 to 14 hours. Clothing and bed
linens should be washed and dried in a hot dryer or dry-cleaned.
