6) Posterior colpoperineorrhaphy is then performed.
Complications:
1- Takes loge time
2- There is excessive blood loss throughout the operation.
3- Injury of the bladder, ureter, or rectum.
4- High amputation of the cervix may lead to habitual abortion, or habitual
premature labor.
5- Dyspareunia due to narrowing of the vagina or tender scar.
B) Operation for patients after menopause:
1) Anterior colporrhaphy for cystocele.
2) Posterior colpoperineorrhaphy for rectocele.
3) Cystocele & rectocele, classical repair.
4) Vaginal hysterectomy with anterior and posterior repair.
