Coconut Pie #1

                                    Ingredients:

                                    1 cup sugar
                                    dash salt
                                    2 Tbsp cornstarch
                                    2 cups milk
                                    1 tsp vanilla
                                    1 tsp coconut flavor

                                    Blend sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add eggs and
                                    milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
                                    Bring to a boil. Cook for 1 minute. Stir constantly.
                                    Remove from heat. Stir in flavors. Pour in baked pie
                                    crust.

                                    Meringue
                                    4 egg whites
                                    ¼ tsp cream of tartar
                                    ½ cup sugar, 1 Tbsp at a time
                                    1 tsp vanilla

                                    Beat to stiff peaks. Spread over filling. Brown in
                                    oven.
