Cookie Dip

                                    Ingredients:

                                    1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
                                    1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip, thawed
                                    1 cup powdered sugar
                                    1 bag mini chocolate chips

                                    Mix all. Refrigerate. Serve with cookies.

                                                    Corn Flake Candy

                                    Ingredients:

                                    6 cups corn flakes
                                    1 cup sugar
                                    1 cup corn syrup
                                    1½ cups peanut butter, smooth or crunchy

                                    Measure corn flakes in large bowl. Set aside. Bring
                                    syrup and sugar to boil. Add peanut butter. Pour
                                    over corn flakes and stir. Drop by spoonfuls on foil
                                    and cool. Makes 25 pieces.

                                    This recipe was given to me by Rodney "Pokey"
                                    Roberts (Alma's son). He and my friend Kay
                                    Townsend are always swapping cooking and canning
                                    recipes.
