Elvis's Peanut Butter Gooey Butter Cake

Ingredients:
1 (18.25 oz) pkg yellow cake mix
1 egg
½ cup (1 stick) butter melted
Filling—
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup creamy peanut butter
1 ripe banana mashed
½ cup (1 stick) butter
1 (1 lb) box confectioner’s sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9 pan with
vegetable spray. In large mixing bowl stir together
cake mix, egg, and butter with a fork. Mix well and
pat lightly into prepared pan.
Filling: In same bowl, beat the cream cheese, eggs
and vanilla. Add peanut butter, banana, butter and
beat well. Stir in confectioner’s sugar with a
spatula, then beat until mixture is smooth-2
minutes. Pour over cake batter mixture and bake
and bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes. Watch close at
end of cooking time. You want the center to still be
a little loose, so do not over bake. Cool 15 minutes.
